Who We Are<\/strong><\/p>\n The Linden Trust for Conservation (LTC), founded in 2006 by Larry Linden, formerly a Partner at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, and Roger Ullman, formerly a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, is led and staffed by a team of ex-businesspeople with deep experience in finance and management. \u00a0Since its founding, that experience has informed LTC\u2019s commitment to seeking bipartisan and economically sound approaches to addressing critical conservation challenges. \u00a0At heart, we share the common values of wise stewardship of our natural resources and the efficacy of markets, incentives and innovation. \u00a0We seek to identify practical, efficient, and non-partisan solutions that allow people to find common ground and move forward.<\/p>\n How We Work<\/strong><\/p>\n We provide both funding and substantial staff time and execution management for \u00a0our projects, drawing, as appropriate, on our business and finance experience. \u00a0We generally take the initiative in designing the objective of each of our projects and in recruiting both the organizations and the additional funders needed to achieve that objective. \u00a0We work on a very small number of projects at a time but are highly committed to each of them.<\/p>\n Our Climate Policy Initiatives<\/strong><\/p>\n LTC is launching a new initiative to gain the inclusion of carbon dioxide removal, one of the major necessary components of a global climate solution, in U.S. climate policy.<\/p>\n LTC also recently launched a carbon tax initiative, which seeks the adoption of an economy-wide, market-based approach to address the challenge of climate change and advancing a clean-energy economy.\u00a0 See\u00a0Climate Policy Initiatives<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Who We Are The Linden Trust for Conservation (LTC), founded in 2006 by Larry Linden, formerly a Partner at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, and Roger Ullman, formerly a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, is led and staffed by a team of ex-businesspeople with deep experience in finance and management. \u00a0Since its founding, that experience has […]<\/p>\n
